In editorial workflows where content is edited after publication, the author shown on a post or page may not tell you who first published the content. The plugin stores and displays the original publisher, preserving that information after other people make edits.

In the WordPress admin, it adds a Who Published column to post and page lists, a metabox to the editor and a filter for the original publisher. Badges distinguish confirmed publishers from estimates. When the publisher cannot be determined, the fallback tries the last editor or the author of a revision.

The plugin declares REST API compatibility and ships translations for pt_BR, pt_PT and es_ES. Its public header also declares a dedicated text domain and a GPLv2-or-later license.
